    1. Your answer is wrong.
      Working days +absent days = 30 days
      (Working days * 10)-(2*absent days) = 216
      So,(23*10)-(2*7)=216.
      Therefore,Number of working days is 23.

  4. 28. Car speed = 588/6 = 98 km/hr
    Train speed = 1 3/4th of car speed
    Train speed = 171.5 km/hr
    Distance covered in 13 hr is
    2229.5 km

    Both = 300/35 days
    If worked for 4 days remaining work in fraction is
    =1-(35*4/300) = 8/15

    B can do a work for one day = 1/50
    Together = (1/75)+(1/50)
    = (75*50)/(50+75)=30 days

    B alone =(5*4)/3=20/3 days
    Both A&B for one day = (3/20)+(1/20) = (4/20)

    1. A in 50 days,
      B in 25 days.
      A+B=(50*25)/(50+25)
      = 50/3 days to complete
      But,Both worked together for 10 days.the fraction of work completed in days is 10/(50/3)=3/5.
      Remaining work is 2/5
      Thus, B alone complete in 10 days

      To complete 5/7th of work in 60 days 10hrs/day with 75+extra man power.
      »[75*90*8*5]/7=[60*10*2*(75+x)]/7
